Below is a look at some of the individuals who will provide training through Continuum:

Jackson Thornton principal Rod Ballard is known for his expertise in utility issues, including accounting, finance and regulations. Ballard provides consulting services regarding budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and training for utilities throughout the Southeast. Ballard teaches a wide variety of classes through Continuum, including sessions on utility accounting, finance and management issues. He has served as a presenter for and is a member of numerous utility associations throughout the country.

Heidi Lee, a principal with Jackson Thornton's Utilities group, has more than 20 years of experience working with utilities on issues of assurance, accounting and management. Lee is an accomplished speaker who has given presentations to utility groups throughout the Southeast. She has also been a speaker for the RUS-CPA seminar. Lee is a licensed CPA in six Southeastern states.

Jackson Thornton principal Terry Mitchell has specialized in utilities work for more than 30 years. Mitchell, whose primary expertise lies in utility accounting and finance matters, has provided testimony for various public service commissions as well as the Alabama State Legislature, and has served as a representative on the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association Accounting and Taxation Committee. Mitchell is frequently called upon to provide presentations to several state and national utility associations.

William L. (Bill) Muehlbauer has over 30 years of experience in education and training, including 10 years working in adult continuing education for a large regional utility association. Muehlbauer specializes in the areas of management, human resources, marketing and program development. He is the current vice president of Continuum Education + Training.

Dispensing unconventional wisdom, Continuum speaker Jenny Nolen has trained - and entertained - groups in the art of team performance and leadership for more than 25 years. A highly effective and enthusiastic presenter, Nolen uses humor to demonstrate how to reduce stress and negativity, while improving communication and customer service. Upon special request, Nolen also provides customized classes according to the needs of her audience.
